梅花龟的由来：
在九泰皇时期，山中村民生活清贫，缺乏铜片等材料来制作护身符。而在梅花盛开的季节，古巴崖法师父受到启发，以梅花与草药为主要材料，融合蜜蜡，用双手一件件捏制出龟形圣物。这些梅花龟被分发给村民，寓意护佑与富足，帮助他们招财进宝，消灾解难，长命百岁。
梅花龟还象征佛陀的慈悲化身。相传佛陀曾变为一只巨龟，舍身拯救一位危难中的国王，梅花龟正是这一佛教故事的象征化呈现。

The Story Behind Phaya Tao Cotton Turtle:
During the time of King Rama IX, villagers in the mountains lived in poverty, unable to afford copper or other materials to make protective charms. Inspired by the blooming plum blossoms, Kuba Yafah combined flowers with herbs and beeswax to handcraft turtle-shaped amulets. These sacred turtles were distributed to villagers, symbolizing protection, prosperity, and long life.
The turtle also represents the Buddha’s compassion. According to Buddhist lore, the Buddha once transformed into a giant turtle to save a king in distress. The Phaya Tao Cotton Turtle embodies this story, serving as a reminder of selflessness and divine protection.
